BERLIN WHIRLING activities happen monthly at the unique Studio2 in Berlin’s Art Center Bethanien. And at any other place, festival, studio, or other occasion, that would like to meet (with) the whirling realm.
BERLIN WHIRLING is your call for workshops and sessions on the dance of the dervishes by Lisa Stertz. Lisa is a certified whirling instructor since 2021. She received her teachings in Turkey via the “Dervish In Progress Teacher Education Program” by Ziya Azazi.
BERLIN WHIRLING is an inclusive approach into the whirling world. Every body can whirl! It is an incubator for self-healing and self-transformation. – A gateway to change.
BERLIN WHIRLING sees the spinning dance as an active meditation practice through its repetitive movement and as a journey into your deeper, more profound self.
With BERLIN WHIRLING each workshop and each session moves your physical, mental and emotional body simultaneously and allows for a heightened state of consciousness.
In BERLIN WHIRLING spirituality meets ecstasy, intimacy dances with awareness, and stillness is found in movement.

BERLIN WHIRLING-Aktivitäten finden monatlich im einzigartigen Studio2 im Berliner Kunstquartier Bethanien statt. ...und an jedem anderen Platz, Festival, Studio oder anderen Anlässen, die sich mit der Welt des Drehtanzes beschäftigen möchten.
BERLIN WHIRLING ist Ihr Ort für Workshops und Kurse zum Tanz der Derwische von Lisa Stertz. Lisa ist seit 2021 zertifizierte Drehtanz-Lehrerin. Ihre Ausbildung erhielt sie in der Türkei im Rahmen des „Dervish In Progress Teacher Education Program” von Ziya Azazi.
BERLIN WHIRLING ist ein inklusiver Zugang zum Drehtanz. Jeder Körper kann drehen! Es ist ein Inkubator für Selbstheilung und Selbsttransformation. – Ein Tor zur Veränderung.
BERLIN WHIRLING versteht den Drehtanz durch die sich wiederholenden Bewegungen als aktive Meditationspraxis und als Reise in Dein tieferes, innerstes Selbst.
Bei BERLIN WHIRLING bewegt jeder Workshop und jede Sitzung gleichzeitig deinen physischen, mentalen und emotionalen Körper und ermöglicht es so in einen erhöhten Bewusstseinszustand zu gelangen.
In BERLIN WHIRLING trifft Spiritualität auf Ekstase, Intimität tanzt mit Bewusstsein und Stille kann in der Bewegung gefunden werden.
